No. XAM is a complete standalone assessment platform. Generate questions, export print-ready papers, publish to students via link, collect responses, auto-grade and review results, all with no LMS. The X-Ed integration is an optional addition, not a requirement.
Yes. Publish some assessments via a shareable link and push others into X-Ed; there's no restriction on mixing the two. Each assessment is published independently, so you choose the delivery method per assessment.
Yes, with a small step. Export questions from the Question Bank in formats your LMS understands: .GIFT for Moodle, and CSV for most import tools. Native push integrations that remove the manual import are in development; join the waitlist to be notified.
